Applications can be made through a supporting professional such as registered charity workers, social care professionals, doctors and specialist nurses, social workers and other advice or key workers. They simply go to the “apply for funding” page and fill in an online form on your behalf.
Anyone receiving means tested benefits is automatically considered. We also look at a wide range of financial circumstances when deciding on eligibility.
We can provide financial assistance to women in the UK suffering from TB and other lung conditions. When possible, to women with other chronic conditions.
Margaret’s Fund makes payments by cheque and BACS only. The payment is only ever made to the supporting professional’s organisation.
Unfortunately, no. We are unable to accept direct applications from individuals, family members or carers.
A supporting professional is someone who can apply for funding from Margaret’s Fund on your behalf. We accept applications from registered charity workers, social care professionals, doctor and specialist nurses, social workers and other advice or key workers, but regret we are unable to accept applications from carers.
